In line with its objectives, CDP always aims at partnering with youth since those people are the future actors of the society and they create its pillars.
The objective was to select the best 100 secondary students from all over Lebanon who show exceptional potential in leadership and the love for community work. Those selected underwent training on how to utilize their skills in the optimum manner to initiate and conduct projects that has public benefit. They were trained also on the best practices of democracy and the election process.
A kit that interactively gathers all these concepts, ideas and tools was prepared and was disseminated to the Lebanese secondary schools all over Lebanon.
Afterwards, the selected group joined their forces together in a gathering called Lebanese Youth Development Assembly or LYDA.
